Gorakhpur Infrastructure Company Private Ltd (GICL)

Gorakhpur Infrastructure Company Private Ltd. (GICL) operates 32.7 km of Gorakhpur Bypass on NH-28 which forms a part of existing National Highway East West corridor from Porbandar (Gujarat) to Silchar (Assam). The project road starts from Km. 0.000 near Kalesar village and ends at 32.270 near Jagadishpur village with an elevated corridor of approx. 2.9 Km.

The project, built at a total cost of close to INR 600 crore, commenced operations in April 2012. The project has a concession period of 20 years inclusive of construction period of 2.5 years. It is a DBFOT (Annuity) project which yields fixed semi-annual payments from National Highway Authority of India (NHAI).
